Marvin was remarried on December 8, 1973 to CONNIE JO VANCE BRACKEN .  Connie Jo had a daughter Lydia Anne from a previous marriage.  Marvin adopted Lydia in 1974.  Marvin and Connie Jo had a daughter Amanda Allison who was born on August 10, 1975. Marvin and Connie Jo were married for 10 years.

Marvin and Robyn moved from Marshall, Texas to Tyler, Texas in 2008. Marvin, through his attorneys have filed litigation to enforce his telephony patents in Federal Court in Tyler, Texas.

Currently, Marvin came up with a new distruptive patent that will reset the digital industry. It solves a host of problems that plaguing the music industry with huge financial losses. These new digital patents and copyrights will ALSO give users a new dimension of how users will listen to music and other uses of recorded digital content. See Song1 website - (Song1) or direct link to the U.S. Patent office showing actual issued patent - (Marshall Digital System Patent(s). In September 2021, Marvin received notice from the USPTO that his 4th Digital Streaming Patent was granted. Issuance is expected any day.

approached this curve on a foggy road at daybreak. Traveling way too fast (about 70 MPH) and all of sudden this curve appeared. Marvin turned into curve and hit the brakes. His 1952 Mercury flew off the curve, spon 180 degrees and hit the tree high up the trunk.

Location: Michigan - M-43 a few miles north of Richland, Michigan.

No photo of the car remains, however ater nearly 50 years, the tree bares the scars of the collision. Only way Marvin and 2 other front seat passenger survived, was that the car hit the tree squarely at the rear-end.

It squashed the back of the car so that the tree trunk was close to the back seat.

Marvin thought a minute and said, "Well in Michigan you can't see anywhere, but you can see something, here you can see everywhere, but you can't see nothing". Incidently, this ranch is now owned by billionaire Ted Turner

However my hands did not age as much as my face.

Interestingly, if you look at the tendon to my index finger you can still see the lead mark where Pat Larson stabbed me with a lead pencil. I had pulled on her pig-tail as she set in front of me in the row-seats we had in the 3rd grade at the B-school.

2003 January 7

On another business trip from Nashville, TN to St. Petersburg, FL we went the back route through Plains, GA and was driving by when President Carter was unvailing the new Georgia State Banner.

2003 January 7

Here is a very funny story about it. There was only about 25 people there and I wanted to Robyn to get a photo of me shaking hands with the President if I got the chance. While we waited in line to do so, I was NEXT to shake his hand a chat with him when Robyn starts tappiing me repeatedly on the shoulder. I, in discust of her continued tapping and afraid I would miss my chance if I looked away, finally turned around to see what was so important. Robyn said, "This lady keeps bothering me wanting to talk". I said, "Oh yes, oh well talk to her". It was Roselyn Carter who was wanting to chat with Robyn and Robyn was trying to get rid of her!!! I then shook hands with the President while Robyn and Rosnlyn chatted and only got a close up photo of President carter shaking hands with someone else.
