Amanda, daughter of Marvin and Connie Jo (Vance) Marshall, was born on August 10, 1975 in Springfield, Illinois.

Amanda married SANG KOH 1-7 on September 23, 2000. Divorced 2020. No children.

Amanda and Sang near Seattle, Washington where they are both design engineers.

Previously both Amanda and Sang worked in Detroit in Automotive Design for about ten years. Amanda worked as a Digital Sculptor and Sang as a Creative Designer.  In their last job in Detroit, both worked at GM's Tech Center in Warren until 2006, at one time working side by side on the 2009 Saturn Outlook, of which Sang was the lead designer.  They met at the College for Creative Studies, in Detroit, MI in 1993, where they studied automotive design.  Sang graduated with a degree in Automotive Design, and Amanda transferred into Illustration, but also learned how to use Alias, the prominent conceptual design tool in Automotive at the time. She began working in the industry using Alias in 1997, prior to her graduation from CCS in 1999.
