Mildred, the daughter of Freeman and Alta May (Bird) Kemerliing was born on January 29, 1910 at home in Barry County, Michigan.

Mildred married HAROLD LEE MATHEWS 1-4 on June 21, 1930 in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Mildred and Harold had three children, Donald, Mary Lou and Eldon.

Mildred was a Telephone operator 1925-29. Played banjo at dances from 1926-1941, housewife. Enjoyed golf, bowling and music.

Mildred died on August 27, 1995 at age 85 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Barry County, Michigan..
