Harold Lee, the son of William James and Eda Mae (Rose) Mattews and was born on June 22, 1911 Harold was born in a country home in S.W. Barry County.

Harold married MILDRED IRENE KEMERLING 1-4 on June 21, 1930 in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Harold and Mildred had three children, Donald, Mary Lou and Eldon.

Harold was a machinist by trade. Harold and family along with their children lived on Algonquin Lake, just N.W. of Hastings, Michigan. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, taxidermy, golf, bowling and wood working.

Harold died on August 19, 1992 at age 81 and is buried at the Union Cemetery, Barry County Michigan.

Mildred died on August 27, 1995 at age 85 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Barry County, Michigan.
