Doyle was born on February 23, 1908, the first child of Glenn and Harriet 'Hattie' (Shoup) Marshall.

Doyle married NINA TOBIAS 1-5 on August 19, 1931. Nina was born on July 23, 1910. Doyal and Nina had 4 children, Garth Marshall of Marshall; two daughters, Eunice Coday of Marshall and Dawne Marie Cooley of Bend, Oregon and Susan who died in 1982.

Doyle, at age 66, died on February 14, 1974. Nina died on April 4, 1989.fa

Other survivors are a son, Garth D., of Vicksburg, three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Dawne) Cooley, La Habra, Calif., Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Fishbaugh, N. Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Jerry (Eunice) Coday, Albion, and nine grandchildren. Doyle is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Lowave) Bailey, Augusta, Mrs. Sophie Parks, Kalamazoo, Mrs. Jack (Rachel) Bottomly, Battle Creek, and Mrs. Delbert (Marvel) Hartwell, Vermontville, and nieces and nephews.
