Darrell, the son of Alfred and Hazel (Mathews Hallock) Tester was born on May 31, 1935.

	Darrell; "According to her (Letha), there was a photographer, who came around the neighborhood with the pony, asking if anyone wanted pictures of their children. I saw many others taken on that pony of other kids at that time. It's hard for me to believe it was 1937, for I'd have been only 2 yrs. old. I don't think I could have sat up on that pony at that age".
