Jacob F. (Jake), the son of John and Docitha Marshall, was born in 1863 in Seneca County, Ohio .Jacob was the fourth descendent of George and Elizabethia Marshall to be named Jacob in only two generations.

Jacob married ELSIE DORA PRICE 1-3 who was born in Indiana.   They had seven children, Ross, Ruth, Lena, Will, Fern, Dora and Earl.
