George was born 1860 in Seneca County, Ohio. George was the fifth person named George including the original George who is at the top of the Marshall Family Tree. George married ELLA WAGONLANDER 1-3. George and Ella had three children, Leo, Vern and Orin. ( "Per article from the Hastings Banner, Nov 28, 1888, George died from typhoid fever. Also listed as cause of death on death certificate.
From an article found at the Nashville Library, "George Marshall broke up an attempted murder of Dr LA Foote by a Mr Orno Strong, editor of the Nashville News.
(Apparently the good Doctor was practicing his bedside manner with Mrs Strong). Note: Date of death per Death Certificate in Nov 26, 1888. Date of death per gravestone is Nov 19, 1888." ) George G Marshall is buried at the Wilcox Cemetery, Maple Grove, Michigan. |
