Freida, is the daughter of George Jacob and May Elizabeth (Unknown) Morganthaler and was born on March 11, 1880 in Zweibrucken, Germany the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Schmyrr or Schnyrr) Morganthaler.. Freida came to the United States at the age of 8
Freida married CURTIS THEODORE MARSHALL 1-4, son of Sam and Sophia Marshall, he was born on March 18, 1875. .
Curtis and Frieda had three children, Beulah, Claire and Earl.
Freida's brother Augustus'Gus' Morganthaler came to the U.S. with Freida. Gus lived south of Nashville, Michigan on M-66.
Curtis and Freda owned a farm on Barryville Road for many years. About 15 years after Curtis's death, Freda sold the farm to Clarence and Lilian McKelvey around 1953. Freda then move to Charlotte, Michigan and took up household with Lee Wondser who owned a farm west of town. Freida was involved in a fairly serious accident about 1955, when while walking in Charlotte, she was struck by a car.
Curtis died on March 10, 1936 and is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Nashville, Michigan. Frieda died at her home in rural Charlotte, Michigan on November 25, 1964 and is also buried at the Lakeview Cemetery in Nashville, Michigan.
Frieda paulbearers - Marshall Green, Jack Green, Richard Marshall, Robert Marshall, Willard Love and Joseph Allen.
